The Hawker 800 is a mid-size twin-engine corporate jet based on the British Aerospace BAe 125. It is currently manufactured by Hawker Beechcraft.

In April 1981, British Aerospace authorized an upgrade program for the BAe 125-700. By May 1983, the new BAe 125-800 was ready for its first flight test.

The 800-series included several major differences from the 700-series - new cockpit glazing, a redesigned rear fuselage, and a Garrett TFE731-5R-1H engine with increased thrust. The wing was also improved with new upper wing sections to help reduce drag and increase aerodynamic efficiency. The Hawker's signature thick-profile wing reduces speed slightly, but provides ease of piloting, safety and maneuverability. It allows the machine to land on short runways in places inaccessible to other business jets.

In the mid-1980s Beechcraft acquired the rights to manufacture the aircraft. In 1994 Beech Aircraft merged with Raytheon Corporate Jets to create Raytheon Aircraft, which was renamed Raytheon Hawker 800A.  In March 2007, Raytheon Aircraft Company was sold to Hawker Beechcraft Corp, a company created and managed by GS Capital Partners (an affiliate of Goldman Sachs) and Onex Partners of Canada.

The Hawker 800A was followed by the 800XP. In upgrading to the 800XP standard, the aircraft of the original Hawker 800A received bent windshields and increased wingspan. A total of 275 were assembled, the last of them in late 1995.

Despite the small size of the passenger cabin, the plane has all conditions for a comfortable flight. The VIP cabin is equipped with upholstered armchairs and a sofa, as well as wooden tables, convenient for both work and rest. Few aircraft can match the Hawker 800 XP in combining comfort, cabin size and range.

Taking into account the requirements, the passenger seats are made of leather, desks are equipped with connectors for computers, there is a closet and cup holders for each passenger, as well as many other details that ensure optimum conditions for work in the cabin.
