DA62 design and features
The DA62 features a monocoque fuselage, made of lightweight and robust carbon-fibre composites, and a cabin with gull-wing doors. It incorporates ultramodern safety avionics and redundant flight systems and is equipped with a retractable tricycle landing gear.
The aircraft has a length of 9.19m, wing span of 14.55m and height of 2.83m. The lower MTOM variant carries 470kg of useful load, while the higher MTOM version can transport 730kg.
Cockpit and avionics

The cockpit can accommodate two crew members, a pilot and a co-pilot, and incorporates electrically adjustable rudder pedals. It is equipped with a Garmin G1000 all-glass avionics suite integrating a primary flight display (PFD), a multi-function display (MFD) and an MD-302 digital standby attitude module (SAM).
The instrumentation also includes a Garmin GEA 71 airframe/engine interface unit, GIA 63W input/output line replaceable unit (LRU), GMA 1347 digital audio system, GDC 74 digital air data computer, GMU 44 magnetometer, GFC 700 automatic flight control system (AFCS) with yaw damper and 406MHz emergency locator transmitter (ELT).
The flight deck can be integrated with a GRS77 attitude and heading reference system (AHRS), a Garmin GTX 33 Mode S transponder, optional Class-B terrain awareness and warning system (TAWS), and weather radar.
Cabin features of DA62
The spacious and comfortable cabin accommodates up to seven passengers. The large cargo door allows the entry/exit of passengers and loading/off-loading of cargo in the rear cabin area. Lighting is provided by an overhead ambient cabin light, reading lights and a map light.
The ergonomic seating, with armrests, backrests and fabric inlays, provides a luxurious travelling experience for passengers. The aircraft has two front baggage compartments, while the rear cabin can be configured to carry either passengers or cargo.
