The Citation Bravo is an upgraded version of the Citation II, with improved avionics and much better fuel efficiency, making it one of the most fuel-efficient light jets. Design and launch of the series
The S 550 Citation S/II first flew in 1984, powered by a set of JT15D4B turbojets, with an aerodynamic wing shape and a redesigned leading edge. A version of the aircraft with a reduced wingspan was chosen by the U.S. Navy as a radar trainer with AN/APQ159 radars from the F14Tomcat.
